SupaSMP Server Rules

Follow these rules to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players on our Minecraft SMP server.

1. Zero Tolerance Rules

Violations of these rules result in immediate permanent ban:

Hacking, cheating, or using unauthorized modifications
X-ray texture packs or resource packs
Exploiting bugs or glitches for personal gain
DDoS threats or attempts to harm the server
Doxing or sharing personal information of others
Hate speech, racism, or discrimination
Bypassing bans with alternate accounts

2. Respect & Behavior

Treat all players and staff with respect
No harassment, bullying, or toxic behavior
No excessive arguing or drama in public chat
Listen to and follow staff instructions
Keep discussions appropriate for all ages
No impersonating staff members or other players

3. Chat Rules

No spam, flooding, or excessive caps
English only in main chat (other languages in private messages)
No advertising other servers or Discord servers
No sharing links to inappropriate or malicious content
No begging for items, ranks, or special treatment
Avoid controversial topics like politics or religion

4. Griefing & Stealing

No griefing of any kind (breaking/placing blocks on others builds)
No stealing from other players chests or storage
No killing other players animals or pets
Respect land claims and protected areas
Do not build within 100 blocks of another players base without permission
Clean up creeper holes and other damage near your base

5. PvP Rules

PvP is only allowed in designated PvP areas
No killing players outside of PvP zones without consent
No camping at spawn or PvP arena entrances
No using unfair advantages in PvP combat
Respect other players if they dont want to fight
No killing players to steal their items

6. Building & Gameplay

No lag machines or devices that cause server performance issues
No inappropriate builds or pixel art
Limit your farms to reasonable sizes to avoid lag
No AFK pools or machines that bypass AFK detection
Clean up temporary structures and tree farms
Use common sense when building redstone contraptions

Reporting Violations

If you witness a rule violation, please report it through:

Using the in-game /report command
Creating a ticket on our Discord server
Contacting a staff member directly

Include evidence such as screenshots or videos when possible.

Punishment System

Minor Offenses:

Warning → Temporary Mute → Temporary Ban → Permanent Ban

Major Offenses:

Temporary Ban → Permanent Ban

Severe Offenses:

Immediate Permanent Ban

Staff have final discretion on all punishments. You may appeal bans through our Discord server.

Remember: Use common sense!

If something seems like it might be against the rules or unfair to other players, dont do it. Staff members have the final say on all rule interpretations and may take action on behaviors not explicitly listed here if they are disruptive or harmful to the community.
